Whenever possible, we are out in nature. Our passion are the mountains, and we often go hiking, tenting and camping at weekends and on holiday. We prefer to spend the night in remote natural places, whether in a tent by a crystal-clear mountain lake during a two-day hike or in our Campervan. Nash had his first hiking holiday at the age of 11 weeks, when he was still mainly carried in his child carrier and regularly dozed off.
We always have our camera with us, as we share a passion for photography as well as hiking. The more beautiful that these two activities can be combined so wonderfully. We put a lot of heart and soul into taking portraits of our dogs and creating collages, which give them our own personal touch.
Already as a puppy, Nash showed great pleasure in training and wanted to please right from the start. After puppy and young dog school, we attended a one-year training course, which we passed with the Swiss dog owner's licence exam with maximum points. During our walks, we regularly work on submission and obedience, as is familiar from companion dog sport.
At the age of 12 months, we started show handling training and shortly afterwards took part in our first exhibition in the intermediate class, where Nash immediately received his first Exc.1. Since then, we have been training regularly on our own and with various trainers. Occasionally we also take part in shows in Switzerland and abroad.
We attach great importance to a species-appropriate, healthy and balanced nutrition, which is why we barf. We order freshly slaughtered regional animal components directly from butcher. The daily stew includes muscle meat, offal, bones, raw pureed vegetables and various additives such as salmon and linseed oil, cod liver oil, raw eggs, ground nuts, coconut oil and fresh herbs.
